Dropzone escapes the Harris Fire destruction!

October 26th, 2007

The Harris Fire that ravaged San Diego burned around the DZ but left the entire airport unscathed. Other than a liberal dusting of ash, there were no lasting effects!

The staff and several dedicated funjumpers were allowed back on the DZ Friday the 26th to load gear back in and ready the DZ for the weekend. The DZ is clean and ready for jumpers again!

The Temporary Flight Restrictions for the firefighting efforts have been lifted and we are open for business!

This could be YOU!
